The prolonged rainy season just ended in the Kobe area, and the summer season is now in full swing. It’s the best period for outdoor leisure activities! This time, we will show you ROKKOSAN BOKUJO (Rokkosan Pasture) where everyone can meet with a variety of cute animals while feeling Mt. Rokko’s bountiful nature.
To approach ROKKOSAN BOKUJO (Rokkosan Pasture), take a shuttle bus either from Rokko Sanjo Station or Maya Ropeway Sanjo Station. The bus stops right next to the entrance of the north gate of the Pasture.

The concept of the ROKKOSAN BOKUJO pasture is “Experience-based pasture” which is divided into the south area and the north area.
A flock of sheep is grazing from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm every day in both areas.
As sheep are pretty laid-back and cute, you’ll feel very relaxed when you see them.
【North Area】
<COWBOY AREA>
Find a brick silo which is built near the entrance.
At the horse rink, a fun horse-riding experience is arranged to entertain visitors.
If you don’t have any horse-riding experience, don’t worry! The trainer will assist you by pulling the reins and guide you around the horse rink safely. All you have to do is sit and enjoy the ride.
Children ages 4 and younger can ride with their guardians. Feel secured and relish the ride together!
<Moh Moh Calf Area>
To reach the Moh Moh Area, walk along the stream from the ticket counter.
This nice and spacious area is surrounded by a green lush forest.
Try feeding milk to calves that are about 2 months old! It’s going to be a great experience!
Apart from calves, various animals will welcome visitors in the north area!

Event hours: 9 am-4 pm (the last entry: 3:30 pm)
Solve the riddles and explore the Rokko Pasture in your own way!
As a treasure hunter, visit the spots based on the given hints and find “the sacred place” protected by the holy sword!
Also, three wonderful view spots “Golden Point (altitude: 772 meters)”, Sliver Point (altitude: 706 meters) and Green Point (altitude: 694 meters) are dotted in the pasture. Pick your favorite spots and appreciate the ROKKO SAN BOKUJO’s dynamic view!
【South Area】
The south area will provide you with a cooking experience which is unique to the pasture.
Mt. Rokko Q・B・B cheese house
Q・B・B cheese is one of Japan’s most famous cheeses produced in Kobe.
Go to the basement floor!
Makiba Dream cooking studio holds a cooking experience workshop regularly.
Make a reservation 15 minutes prior to heading to the workshop!
Let’s try making shaved ice cream!
Follow the cooking process lectured by the friendly instructor so that you can make it very easily!
