Tokiwa is one of the most well-established udon noodle restaurants in the Kobe-Sannomiya area. Tokiwa uses domestically produced udon powder and masterfully makes their udon noodles by hand every day.
On top of that, their original soup stock, which is influenced by the Sanuki style, is made with special Rausu kelp and bonito flakes. It tastes very rich and smooth. That’s the Tokiwa style.
Their specialty is “Kama-age tempura udon” (Freshly boiled udon noodles served with tempura and a dipping sauce) 1,200 JPY (tax included). In addition to udon, their tempura and rice bowls are very popular among the locals.
Also, a wide variety of sake from all over Japan are lined up in Tokiwa. Please pick your favorite sake and enjoy it with their a la carte dishes.
